As part of a new initiative across the South East Region of the Third Age Trust we now have a Wellbeing Advisor. The aim is that where possible we ensure that all members are supported in enjoying their experience of the u3a. This covers a range of welfare and safeguarding challenges, including supporting members with dementia, other mental and physical health issues and addressing disruptive behaviour by members of groups and other u3a activities.
